In a word - Rigidity! I got sick of setting up my guitars way to often, or worse, paying your repairman $60-$100 a pop to do it for you... I was unsure about the resulting sound, but I assure you it sounds better than any design using alternative materials out there. The sound of wood without the headaches. Any string gauge, any climate! Does the Stainless Steel interfere with the electronics? Negative. Although it is conductive, no part of the steel comes in contact with the electronics. Also, stainless is non-magnetive so it will not interfere with pickups magnetic field. Will it rust? Not in this lifetime, stainless is rust free. How much does Mark LaMarca's head weigh? Many have asked this question. Your guess is as good as mine. |
